1. Who we are

Gamingle is a collaboration-matching platform operated by Mytholite Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. What we collect

We collect information you choose to provide and information needed to run the service:

Account & identity

  • Discord ID and basic Discord profile data (username, display name, avatar).
  • Email address (if returned by Discord OAuth).

Profile information (optional but recommended)

  • Roles, skills, “looking for” roles/skills
  • Engines, programming languages (shown only for programmers)
  • Tools (art, audio, production)
  • Timezone, spoken languages
  • Availability, experience level, collaboration type
  • Communication preferences
  • Discord handle (only shown to others if you both agree)

Messages

  • Messages sent on the platform and metadata (sender, timestamp).

Operational data

  • Basic logs for performance and security (e.g., error logs, login events).

3. How we use your information

  • Create and manage your account
  • Display your profile and match you with collaborators
  • Provide messaging
  • Show profile previews and match explanations
  • Keep the platform secure and running smoothly

4. Discord login

We use Discord OAuth for authentication. This lets us create your Gamingle account, sync your Discord display name and avatar, and optionally sync your Discord handle for profile use. Your Discord data is not shared with others unless you choose to share it.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your data. We share information only:

  • Public profile data you choose to display (skills, roles, tools, etc.)
  • Discord handle only after mutual consent
  • With service providers who help us host and run Gamingle (e.g., hosting)

6. Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time. Messages may be retained for safety and moderation unless you request removal.

7. Your choices and control

  • Edit your profile at any time
  • Update your communication preferences
  • Remove your Discord handle from your profile
  • Request account deletion

8. Security

We use standard security practices to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, so please use unique passwords and keep your Discord account secure.

9. Children’s privacy

Gamingle is not intended for users under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us.
